Cristiano Aguzzi is the CTO of VAIMEE a young startup focused on creating solutions for simplifying the development of IoT applications.
After his Ph.D., he joined the W3C Web of Things working group as an invited expert and in 2023 took the role of co-chair of the community
group. His open-source activities revolve around the Web of Things standard, in particular is the project lead of Eclipse Thingweb and core developer of node-wot,
a framework for building novel IoT applications that are easy to maintain and port. Through these initiatives, Cristiano is dedicated to achieving
the goal of connecting the physical world with the web.
