Tom has spent 8+ years researching and advising on the relationship between test data and data privacy. He got involved with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in 2014, and has since advised multinational organisations on its significance for testing. He has additionally published several articles and a white paper on the relationship between data privacy and testing, as well as presenting a roundtable discussion and several training sessions on the subject.
