
Tomi has been responsible for leading 17 projects at AWS, providing AWS customers, stakeholders and partners with high-touch assistance, leading them through the change to a cloud- based IT operating model built on AWS, enabling business outcomes. She has a total of 10 certifications, accreditations and awards, ranging from AWS professional to SCRUM master and Engineering. At AWS, she builds, hires, leads, and coaches diverse teams through complex transformation initiatives involving DevOps, application modernisation, analytics, advisory, governance, security, risk and compliance and migrations. Tomi leads creation, development, and maintenance of technical content used globally and represents AWS as a senior speaker (EMEA and USA), influencing industry and driving discussions on DevOps, Infrastructure, Emerging Technologies, Security, Career Development and Inclusion Diversity & Equity, prescriptively suggesting best practices to an audience of 37,000 at events such as DevCon, STEM Women, AWS Summits, Black is Tech, Black Tech Fest and developer conferences. Tomi leads conversations influencing Inclusion Diversity & Equity with AWS stakeholders, panelling events and delivering a 20% increase in diversity representation as the Small Business Enterprise and Partnerships Manager at Amazon for International Women’s Day 2022. Tomi is also the Amazon music Manager for International Women’s Day 2023. Externally, she represents AWS at events such as London Tech Week and as a mentor with Coding Black Females, a scholarship application reviewer at Grace Hopper (world’s largest gathering of women in computing), helping develop careers of women in technology. Tomi volunteers with organisations such as One million women to tech, Your Future, Your Ambition, and The University of Nottingham to mentor on career progression. She is a Forbes member (Forbes the culture), promoting employment equity globally.
