Accessibility for the web has gained visibility in the last few years, but what about iOS apps? Let's talk about why making your iOS app accessible is just as important, if not more important, than building an accessible website. I'll introduce how digital accessibility standards like the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) can apply to iOS applications and how they correlate to the accessibility recommendations that Apple provides. Lastly, we’ll cover the tools and technologies available for building accessible apps, such as Accessibility Inspector.
