This talk will explore why creating your own code generator templates offers substantial benefits over relying on abstracting logic or snippets from tools like Copilot in some cases. The flexibility, reliability, and enhanced developer experience (DevX) benefits will be highlighted. Attendees will learn when and how to create templates that provide fine-grained control, generate multiple files, and adapt easily to different needs without overwhelming developers. The talk would be built around the experience of building a huge internal fullstack SDK generating React and dotNET code (with focus on frontend and integration).
