This talk will introduce the concept of Release Orchestration. Release Orchestration is a way to automate the delivery process of SW artifacts across all of the stages of the Software Life Cycle. Release orchestration extends the concept of CI/CD pipelines taking into account all aspects needed for release execution beyond the purely technical ones. Once having introduced what release orchestration is and what benefits it will bring to an organization, the talk will give a few concrete implementation examples based on a real-life use case. The author has been leading the conception and deployment of the release orchestration elements across the organization.
