When building apps, making it run fast is always a concern, but the word fast has a special meaning when we are building an application for a NASCAR Racing team. Find out how we built a companion app for Trackhouse, a NASCAR Racing team, which allows guests to follow real time information from their pilots in the races. And learn about all the challenges in making an app that needs to consume dozens of thousands of events per minute! This talk will provide a real life example for the audience on how applications that needs to handle a huge amount of that data can be challenging and a couple of the learnings that we took from that experience.
