There are many different definitions of quality. This presentation asks how agile teams can use those definitions. Agile teams need an understanding of quality to help them to produce quality work, but how can they use these definitions to improve their understanding? This presentation will take you through definitions of quality from people who have influenced lean and agile. These definitions place emphasis on different aspects of quality.Some definitions raise questions about how we understand the customers role in defining quality and others base their definition on the customer. Other definitions consider the role of innovation and engineering in defining quality. The talk will consider how we can use these definitions to help us understand quality and will contain practical examples of how these definitions can be applied by agile teams.At the end of the talk it will be great to discuss the issues raised in the presentation.
