When we speak about microservices there always will be a need to build communication between them and maybe frontends, which require a lot of contracts on both sides. Specification-first is a methodology that might help you to make this process easier, but what if we go further and also apply it not only for our APIs like OpenAPI docs (ex Swagger)? In this talk, I will describe what other alternatives we can leverage to improve the development experience, reduce the codebase, and make your software robust and resilient to changes.
