Contemporaneity pushes us to deal with digital technologies and new scenarios of imagination. As a result, we see new creations by method and content; just to name a few, the creation of fake news and graphic representation without any effort. Focusing on this last output, the digital art involves also the creation of images with no graphic and technical expertise. Looking at this contingency, is this the new horizon we are going to face? Collecting feedback from surveys involving global communities of designers and AI artist, I tried to draw an exploratory horizon on what is the sentiment on this theme and then, put findings in dialog with Walter Benjamin, a philosopher who wrote sin 1935 a volume with several essays entitled “The work of art in the Age of its Technological reproducibility”. Pointing out that as human beings we reiterate cognitive categories.
